International community may respond by deploying assets that have multiple functions to crisis zones. Such crisis response operations are generally described as Peace Support Operations (PSO) and may be co-ordinated under the auspices of the United Nations (UN), the African Union (AU), or African Regional Organisations such as the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS), The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), and among others International Organisations. This study found that RDF contributed largely in building peace, peace stabilisation and conflicts resolutions but mostly on social, economic and political by creating love and trust, creating role models, offering encouragement and reassurance, building the capacity to make and implement realistic plans. Most of these aspects have been found at the high level (95%). Moreover, findings also show that RDF is seen as caregiver, morale builder, health promoter and capacity builder. Nevertheless, RDF faces some challenges like lack of necessary found which hinder its ability to, fullfulill its mission.
