The most she desired out of life was her freedom. She wanted an opportunity to discover who she was. Growing up she was daddy's little girl. Normally, this would be life's greatest reward, but her father was the pastor of one of the oldest African-American church in Dallas, TX. As a preacher's kid the way she dressed, the way she talked, the way she behaved was decided and conditioned based on who her dad was.
