Blood Wine

I continued to send my power to Nathan, my eyes on him. It was then X learned why Victor had seemed so confident, as a wolf leaped from the dark shadows knocking me back and down. It bared its teeth over me and I screamed, letting my telekinetic power go. The wolf was thrown back to hit a beam hard enough I heard bones break. I got to my feet and saw Nathan had gone to his knees, Victor stood over him, another wolf at his side as he raised a long blade that gave a gleam in the faint light so I knew it had to be silver. He was cheating in what should have been a fair fight Again I screamed and threw my power at him and the wolf. Both were hurled back almost the length of the building as I hurried to Nathan and stood practically over him as I saw Victor come to his feet. The wolf down for the count didn't move. I didn't think Nathan would say anything about my stepping in since Victor was not going by the rules, at least Nathan had only done what he had agreed to, that said a lot about him if you asked me. Nathan fell to the ground in a widening pool of blood. I saw Victor come to his feet and tensed as he started toward me. "Stop right there" I almost shouted swinging the usi around. "This is so over, you didn't abide by the agreement you and Nathan had made" Victor smiled and I shuddered at the feel of evil that came from him. "I will have the city, bitch, and now that I have felt your power, I will have you as well. Tell him I will be back for him to finish what I have started"
