The Successful Lodge: Best Practices in Freemasonry, by 70 Well Traveled Brethren: Lessons in Nonprofit Leadership

Publisher Marketing: "The Successful Lodge: Best Practices in Freemasonry" is a unique manual for Masonic leaders, who operate in a nonprofit environment like no other. From two Past Grand Masters to recently raised Brethren, 70 experienced Freemasons share their advice on making a positive difference in your Lodge. For the first time, these proven methods of leadership are compiled into a handy book that a motivated Mason might read in one afternoon - then revisit during the rest of his life in Lodge. Experienced line officers discuss communication, planning, management, harmony, ritual, goals, programming, diversity, education programs, member needs, building management, customer expectations, and dozens of other subjects that effective officers and active Brethren need to contemplate. This diverse anthology of hard-won, battle-tested knowledge can improve your organization this week, next year, and for decades to come. Proceeds from this book go to the Easterling Foundation Scholarship. Founded in 2013, the annual scholarship awards $1,000 to graduating high school seniors who are active in Ohio's 21st Masonic District, who demonstrate a strong will to pursue higher education and have the greatest need. Thank you for your contribution. Visit www. MasonicOH21.net for more details, or see the back of this book for an application.
