Song of the Zimeni

While trying to find escape from her broken home Cadence follows mysterious deer into the wilderness behind her house, only to find herself in a strange world with talking animals, grumpy trees, and fae, who are on the verge of war. With the aid of Kerbba, the last of the ancient Zimeni, she sets about unraveling the tension that threatens to tear this enchanted world asunder. In doing so she finds herself between the enticing power of Dathra, back from a long banishment and Ephas, the deer that led her to this universe in the first place. In the chaos that surrounds her Cadence must come to terms with who she is and who she needs to become.
