The MCAD: Mechanical Circulatory Assist Devices takes advantage of the IA MED's educational approach to make complex topics easier to understand. More frequently, critical care clinicians are expected to understand and manage a wide range of hemodynamics and circulatory support devices. MCAD will review the fundamentals of hemodynamics, arterial line management, ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and IABP in the transport environment.
